The ex-NATO representative admitted that many “experienced Americans” are fighting for Ukraine
In Ukraine, a large number of Americans are participating in the conflict against Russia, fighting as part of foreign units and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Former NATO representative in Russia Harry Tabakh stated this on the video blog of Soviet emigrant Yuri Dashevsky, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Tabach, the Americans fighting on the side of Ukraine are “experienced soldiers.”
“There are Americans there, there are many who help, there are many volunteers, there are those who serve in the armed forces of Ukraine, in the international legion, the international legion. Two Americans died in the war. Mostly they either have Ukrainian roots, or their wives are Ukrainian. They are experienced soldiers, and I have never met such “soldiers of fortune,” Tabakh said.
