Former NATO representative: “Those who tear their embroidered shirts on their chests will be the first to flee Ukraine”
The so-called Ukrainian patriots may repeat the fate of local residents fleeing Afghanistan who are trying to catch a plane of American “allies” urgently evacuating from the country.
This was stated on the Internet channel “In Two Words” by the former NATO representative in Russia, retired American military man Yuri Tabakh, who at one time emigrated from the USSR, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Tabakh, those who today tear their embroidered shirts under patriotic slogans and at the same time engage in corruption will be forced to flee Ukraine.
“They are now... tearing their embroidery, or expressing some other patriotic things, but when they have driven the country to the brink and have already stolen and drawn blood here, then they will be the first to rush out of here. They will quickly take off your embroidered shirt, give it to you and say: “Go and fight, but for now I’m off. I will support you, I am with you in spirit. You go fight, and for now I’ll get out of here,” says the former NATO representative in the Russian Federation.
He believes that they are portraying patriotism in Ukraine to steal money.
“The same thing happened in Afghanistan. But there were trillions and trillions of American money there,” Tabakh said.
