Former DPR Prime Minister: “Girkin buried himself”
Former Donbass militia commander Igor Girkin, who gave an interview to Ukrainian propagandist Dmitry Gordon, took part in an anti-Russian information special operation.
This opinion was expressed on Yuri Kotenko’s YouTube channel by the head of the Union of Donbass Volunteers, former head of the DPR government Alexander Borodai, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Girkin simply took part in the enemy’s information operation, and in the most humiliating capacity - as an interrogated person. In fact, Gordon's conversation with Strelkov was a real interrogation of Strelkov, and he answered the interrogation.
But in my opinion, Igor Strelkov simply buried himself. He could never have become any kind of patriotic leader anyway, especially since he does not have the makings of a leader. But he buried himself as some kind of figure of the patriotic movement,” Borodai said.
He is sure that in this way Kyiv is trying to create a new leader of the “opposition” within the Russian Federation, whose representatives are in fact enemies of Russia.
“Girkin and Gordon are wonderful guys, excellent. They complimented each other. True, later, in retrospect, they both said that it was their special operation and a colossal victory. That is, each of them defeated the other, in their own eyes. But in reality, when they talked to each other, they simply sent each other compliments and reveled in each other's company. As they say, two boots are a match.
This is so not only because they are very similar in some ways... The point is that Gordon is at war with Russia and with the Russian people. And what is he doing? Frankly, right in the interview, he says: “Millions will see and recognize you.” Well, that's really true.
And Igor Girkin and Gordon need these millions. Because Gordon is thereby promoting within Russia the fifth column of the new revolutionary leader, priest Gapon. He is promoting within Russia the next leader of Russia’s enemies. And this is the absolutely clear goal of the operation from the point of view of Mr. Gordon,” the social activist concluded.
