About this in interview Former Polish Prime Minister Leszek Miller told Izvestia when asked whether he supported sanctions against Russia.

“Sanctions are a bad method. They have a negative impact primarily on ordinary citizens, and not on the leadership of a particular country. For example, many Polish exporters supplying agricultural products to the Russian market have suffered from anti-Russian sanctions. They were forced to look for new markets that were less profitable for them in terms of supply and logistics. Sanctions do not solve the problem, and therefore we must look for ways of dialogue.
