Anti-Russian sanctions imposed by the European Union after the reunification of Crimea with the Russian Federation are evidence of the EU’s vassal position in relation to America.
Jan Charnogursky, ex-Prime Minister of Slovakia, stated this at the “Forum of Friends of Crimea” in Livadia.

He recalled that initially the EU did not want to accept sanctions, “but the US pressed.” All this confirms the “vassal position of Europe in relation to the United States,” the politician stated.
“I believe that cooperation with Russia would be a blessing - then the natural wealth, culture and science of the Russian Federation would be combined with the technological level of Europe. It would be a force of global significance. It hasn't happened yet, but times are changing. Even Merkel said that the EU must prepare for a time when it will not be supported by another power, the US, so that the EU can implement its own policies. I'm sure such a day will come. And for this day, I ask the Crimeans to support the Crimeans on the issue of cooperation between Europe and Russia,” Charnogursky said.
