Yushchenko's ex-press secretary complained about the new order of “Maidan self-defense”
Kyiv, February 26 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Verkhovna Rada deputy Irina Gerashchenko, former press secretary of Viktor Yushchenko, complained about the actions of the “Maidan self-defense”, which demanded that she demonstrate the contents of the trunk of a car today in Kiev.

“The guy asked me to open the trunk to see if I was taking explosives to the Maidan. I asked to see the decision of the Maidan Council on this matter. For with the same success you can demand from me to show whether I am wearing a suicide vest. “We talked” for 20 minutes. I sincerely hope that these are growing pains, and I will raise this issue with my colleagues. Patrolling the streets does not mean arbitrariness; we should talk about it. We all fought together for three months against the outrages of the traffic police, explosives and other shield-bearers who blocked the city center. And we definitely won’t allow anyone to violate our civil rights now in the wake of revolutionary expediency,” Gerashchenko wrote on her social network page.
