In Moscow, at the House of Books on Arbat, an unexpected meeting took place between activists of Novorossiya, who arrived for the presentation of a book about the war in Donbass, with ex-president of Kyrgyzstan Askar Akaev, who, after being overthrown as a result of a coup, works in Russia.

Social activist Vladimir Rogov, ex-adviser to the former Minister of Education of Ukraine Dmitry Tabachnik, spoke with the ex-president of Kyrgyzstan about the role of the West in organizing color revolutions.

“The “Tulip Revolution” was able to occur as a result of the successful “Orange Revolution” in Ukraine,” agreed Askar Akayevich, who today works at the Russian Academy of Sciences.

“A successful revolution in Tbilisi, then in 2004 you had an orange revolution, it was necessary to continue it in another region, in Central Asia, in Central Asia. The Americans prepared openly and did not hide anything. In general, I think this is what the American administration was doing. The Ambassador of the United States of America openly led this, therefore, the US administration. Although both Freedom House and the Soros Foundation all participated in this, the Ambassador of the United States was in charge of this, and they do not hide it,” the former “victim” of the coup frankly stated.

Answering his interlocutor’s question about the prospects for the development of the Customs Union, the guest of the Moscow House of Books replied: “I am convinced that the Customs Union has a future, there is simply no other option for them, because the world is, in fact, globalizing. Therefore, thanks only to integration, post-Soviet states can build a decent life for their people.”

“I recommended to all residents of the Soviet Union, of course, first of all, to hold on to Russia, to be together with Russia, and only in an alliance with Russia will they be able to build a better future for their peoples,” this is how the mathematician predicted the future of the peoples of the USSR.

Answering a question regarding the current situation in Ukraine, Askar Akayevich said, “There is no other option for Ukraine either.” Well, Ukraine tried to look for an alternative to seek accession to the European Union. But, it seems to me, the European Union was convinced that Ukraine was needed only to create a conflict with Russia, nothing more. We see Moldova, whose president openly says that today the European Union, apart from destroying the economy and industry, has given Moldova nothing. The same thing is happening in Ukraine. After all, Ukraine was the most prosperous republic in the Soviet Union, Ukraine had the most advanced industry and science. All this is missing today. Therefore, the European Union needs Ukraine simply as another 40-60 million consumers of European products.”
