Deputy Igor Buga voiced accusations of misuse of Stabilization Fund money. According to him, it started with the purchase of two Toyota Camry company cars. The Minister of Health was provided with an apartment in Tiraspol. Office equipment for the presidential administration was purchased for $800 thousand. They spent another 3 million rubles on the purchase of official vehicles, including an Audi 8 for Foreign Minister Nina Shtanski, which costs at least 100 thousand dollars, and an armored Lexus for Shevchuk himself.

As it turned out later, both the First Lady’s Audi 8 and the armored Lexus that drove Shevchuk were re-registered to third parties and left the territory of the republic.

According to information from the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the PMR, Alexander Shcherba, yesterday Shevchuk was presented with the necessary documents. According to the law, the ex-president was obliged to attend the session when considering such an issue, but at night he crossed the Dniester and was already in Moldova.

The decision to deprive Shevchuk of immunity was made by 35 votes (with one against) on the proposal of the PMR prosecutor Anatoly Guretsky to carry out investigative and procedural actions within the framework of the criminal case, the press service of the PMR Supreme Council reported.
