Ex-Regionals want to recreate a nuclear bomb to protect against Russia

This opinion was expressed in an interview with the Focus weekly by one of the leaders of the “Opposition Bloc” (which unites some of the former functionaries of the Party of Regions, oriented toward Dmitry Firtash), Kiev millionaire Vadim Rabinovich, answering a question about Ukraine’s ability to “repel direct aggression of the Russian Federation.”
“I think that the Russians themselves did not believe that they could take Crimea so easily, although they prepared for this for a long time and thoroughly,” says the politician. – But no one was going to go to Donbass. Russia sent in its troops only after we started an open war with Donetsk and Lugansk. They then wanted federalization, etc. – it was necessary to beautifully sign their demands live. By the time this all came into force, we would have somehow dealt with them. And so the Russians received a reason, in their understanding, for an invasion.”
Rabinovich also proposes to abandon Ukraine’s nuclear-free status in order to protect the country from a potential attack.
“With our technologies and specialists, we will be able to create a nuclear bomb in seven months, no one will attack us then,” he is confident. “This is much better than ruining thousands of lives of our patriots.”
