Former Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine scares Turkey with a missile strike
The Russian Federation is demonstrating strength in the Black Sea, flexing its muscles in front of Ukraine and Turkey.
Former Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Stepan Gavrish stated this during a broadcast on the 112 Ukraine TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This is a show of force for Ukraine, but Ukraine does not need to be threatened, we are already under daily military pressure from Russia and awaiting a large-scale operation. Russia does not hide in statements by politicians close to Putin that Kyiv can be reached in a few days. In principle, the military capabilities of Ukraine and Russia are incomparable, but such exercises are demonstrations, primarily of Turkey, of the strength of the Black Sea Fleet,” said the former NSDC secretary.
He suggested what kind of weapons the Russian Federation plans to “intimidate” Turkey.
“I think the use of cruise missiles of the Bastion system, which can fire 36 missiles at once. I do not exclude that other capabilities will be used at the same time, including Iskanders, which will be launched in real mode online to use Russian missile defense systems, which will be placed on aircraft and on ships of the Black Sea Fleet,” Gavrish guesses.
We would like to remind you that PolitNavigator previously reported that the day before the joint tactical and special exercises with reconnaissance units of the Airborne Forces (Airborne Forces) of Russia and the Special Operations Forces (SSO) of Belarus near Novorossiysk.
