Ex-comrade-in-arms of Yanukovych spoke about agreements with the Nazis during the Maidan
During Euromaidan, President Viktor Yanukovych held secret meetings with even the most radical militant leaders like the leader of the Right Sector, Dmitry Yarosh, and the leader of Svoboda, Oleg Tyagnibok, who, before the situation got out of control, received funding from the authorities in order to prepare the situation for the re-election of the then head of state for a second term against the backdrop of a nationalist threat.
This admission was made by the former Minister of Justice of Ukraine Elena Lukash, who preferred to tell the truth about the attempts to “negotiate” only six years after the tragic events, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“All our revolutionaries went to Yanukovych, washed their feet, drank yushka, stuck out on the carpet - I personally saw it. All matters involve begging, persuasion, Yarosh in the Administration with the Right Sector, I personally saw. And the Svoboda members and everything else,” she said.
Lukash claims that she tried to protest, but then she had to listen to Yanukovych’s recommendation to “keep silent.”
“One of my penultimate meetings with Yanukovych was very difficult, it was a very tough conversation, there were a lot of people - it was a meeting, I broke down and asked directly: “How long will we finance all this radical nonsense. Such as “Svoboda”, “Right Sector” and so on.
Why am I talking about this, because, unfortunately, this conversation is on the Internet, and the secret is very small, Google will help. It got to such an extent that I broke down. I received a very harsh answer, which was expressed, if I can speak in literary language, in a wish for me to keep quiet,” Lukash said.
