This was stated in an interview with the Kyiv agency UNN by ex-people's deputy and former ally of Viktor Yanukovych Taras Chernovol.
“During the G7 summit, the Ukrainian issue will be raised quite seriously, but in the main context of European countries with the threats that Russia poses today. For them, Russian threats have become a clear issue. Already more and more in European countries, and indeed in the countries of the G7, they are increasingly talking about some strange connections that may indicate that Russia, if not coordinating, then may have information about terrorist attacks that will be carried out by IS and not at all does not provide information about them to its so-called partners. Therefore, I think this moment will also play a role. But here it is worth remembering Poroshenko’s serious negotiations with the Japanese and Germans. That is, we “hit” certain points and it is clear that we put certain points on the agenda (G7 - ed.),” he said.
According to Chornovol, the summit will discuss “Russian threats” to the civilized world, but Ukraine should be the main illustration of such “threats.”
