Ex-People's Deputy from PR Taras Chernovil stated this on 3Stv.
“If agents of the Russian special services are openly working in Moldova, then in Bulgaria there is a more serious process - Euroscepticism. They blame bad old Europe for all their troubles. Russia there was a factor in the populist propaganda program of the socialist candidate. This is a more alarming situation than in Moldova, because similar processes are developing in the EU,” Cernovil said.
He believes that the resignation of the Bulgarian government makes the “threat” of early parliamentary elections real.
“Now the situation is bad for pro-European forces. Populists are raising their heads. Bulgaria is the first election that gave a bad result,” Chernovil said.
On November 13, the presidential elections in Bulgaria were won by General Rumen Radev, whom opponents call a “pro-Russian” candidate.
