An ex-SBU employee spoke about what is happening in secret prisons in Ukraine
SBU officers kidnap people throughout the country and take them to secret prisons, where they are tortured until the detainees die or confess to working for the DPR MGB or the Russian FSB, otherwise they are killed.
A former employee of the central apparatus of the SBU, Lieutenant Colonel Vasily Prozorov, who went over to the side of Russia, stated this on the YouTube channel “Voice of Truth,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I encountered the secret SBU prison personally, in Mariupol, at the Mariupol airfield - the notorious “Library”. I know her intimately, and, one might say, “from the beginning.” As for others, I have little information.
But I know that such a secret prison was set up on the territory of the former pre-trial detention center of the Kharkov SBU department. Because at the beginning of the XNUMXs, all SBU pre-trial detention centers were closed and all their functions were transferred to the penal system, but the premises remained, good premises with thick walls and bars.
Of course, people were brought to the Kharkov SBU department and kept there. What is the point of such prisons for Ukrainian security forces? When a person gets there, he disappears and can be tortured, and there is no prison term, no procedural rules, he cannot write a complaint, the prosecutor cannot come with an inspection, which means that anything can be done to the person, even lethal outcome, and nothing will happen to you for it,” he noted
Also, the ex-SBU employee told how employees of the Mariupol SBU extorted confessions from illegally detained people about working for the MGB or FSB in order to then formally accuse them.
“From my own experience, what I encountered in Mariupol, I will honestly say that there were two fatal cases in my practice. Yes, I personally saw that a person was killed in this prison. That's why I say that the topic is very difficult.
Most often it was like this: a person was put in the “Library”, the officers of the Mariupol SBU began to torture him, beat out of him the testimony they needed, putting them in the interrogation reports, and drew up the interrogation reports without a date.
After this, the person was taken somewhere on the highway and released, and after 50 meters they were detained again and this second detention was already formalized procedurally, it’s just that by that time they had in their hands a confession signed by him in his work, say, for the MGB of the DPR or the FSB of Russia “, concluded Prozorov.
