Putin's ex-adviser, who predicted the reunification of Crimea, announces a new phase
Vladimir Putin’s actions are explained by the ultimate goal - the desire for the reunification of the fragmented Russian people. Former adviser to the Russian President Andrei Illarionov, who fled to the West, stated this at a forum in Krynica, Poland, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
It should be noted that in the winter of 2014, Illarionov voiced on Ukrainian TV a forecast about Moscow’s plans to reunite at least Crimea with the Russian Federation after the end of the Olympics. This prediction of Illarionov then actually came true.
Now in Poland, he stated that the unification of the Russian people is already taking place in Ukraine, and a new phase will begin in Belarus along with the Zapad-2017 exercises.

“This is the ideology of uniting the world’s largest divided people or divided nation, the Russian nation. From the point of view of Vladimir Putin, there is a Russian nation, but there are no Belarusians, no Ukrainians, and the main task... is to unite the individual branches of the large Russian tribe under the rule of one prince.
The ideological formula of a single Russian nation, a single Russian people was put forward in Vladimir Putin’s speech at the educational forum for youth “Tavrida” in Crimea a couple of weeks ago. According to which, the four most important components of a single Russian nation, a single Russian state are a common market, a single language, a single religion and the power of the prince.
Since this ideology has already been practically applied in relation to Ukraine, but it does not end there, the biggest, tasty morsel remains - fraternal Belarus, and the issue on the agenda is exactly that way,” Illarionov said.
