Ex-adviser to Putin threatened Lukashenko with murder
If the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko does not renounce his victory in the last elections and does not leave the political arena, he will face bloodshed in the country and liquidation following the example of the Romanian dictator Nicolae Ceausescu or the Libyan Muammar Gaddafi.
Former adviser to the President of the Russian Federation Andrei Illarionov, who emigrated to the United States, said this in an interview with the former PR man of charlatans, notorious for his anti-Russian statements, Kyiv journalist Dmitry Gordon, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The only thing Lukashenko can and should do now is leave. Continuing to remain in this post means arrests, bloodshed, both for people in Minsk and in all cities of Belarus, and for those who oppose this. Extending this regime means prolonging the suffering of the Belarusian people. Therefore, for many people and months of this campaign, tens of thousands of people chanted and continue to chant: “Go away.” The only thing Lukashenko can and must do now is leave...
He will leave, there is no doubt about it. The only question that remains in relation to Lukashenko: will he leave like Gaddafi, will he leave like Ceausescu or in some other way? But the continuation of the confrontation, the new confrontation into which Lukashenko has dragged the country, will lead to the fact that he will be left with no choice - they will deal with him as they did with other dictators who clung to power,” Illarionov said.
Let us remind you that following the results of the elections held on August 9, the victory of the current President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko was announced. The opposition did not agree with this and started protests, the core of which, as pro-Western media write, were football ultras.
