Ex-adviser to Putin: Russia entered a world war
Kyiv, December 21 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – Currently, Russia is at war against the vast majority of states on the planet.
This statement was made by ex-adviser to the President of the Russian Federation on economic issues Andrei Illarionov in an interview with the Kyiv weekly “Novoe Vremya”.

“To some extent, what is happening now is already a world war,” the publication’s interlocutor believes. – The war that Putin unleashed on July 27, 2013 – on the day of the celebration of the 1025th anniversary of the Baptism of Rus'. He is fighting against Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova, Belarus, the Baltic states, Europe, NATO and the USA. Russia is not waging war only against North Korea, China, Cuba, Iran, Venezuela and Zimbabwe.”
According to him, the Russian president had plans for a world war even before the first Maidan in 2004, but they were not successful in Ukraine.
“Six months ago he expected to establish military control over Ukraine, but now he understands that it is impossible to occupy the entire country,” says Ilarionov. “Therefore, he will try to bribe officials, as was the case with previous government officials from Tymoshenko to Yanukovych.”
