Ex-adviser to Putin: The West betrayed Ukraine, Moscow will receive Novorossiya

“There is not a word in the document about preserving the territorial integrity of Ukraine. In it, even at the level of a statement, representatives of the current Russian regime did not guarantee the internationally recognized borders of Ukraine. In other words, their violation is legalized.

The consequences of the federalization process are transparent and completely predictable - separatist leaders are elected to regional authorities and then (with or without the help of Russian commandos) repeat the well-known Crimean scenario in their regions.
The result of the federalization process is the creation not even of a Federal Ukraine, as Temirgaliev reported a few days ago, but of Novorossiya (“from Kharkov to Odessa”),” argues Illarionov.
