Ex-speechwriter for Yanukovych: Ukraine will block access to the sea to the remnants of Russia
Kyiv, November 30 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – Ukraine will gain control over the entire northern Black Sea coast, enter the Caspian Sea and Central Asia, finally blocking the remnants of Russia’s access to the sea.
Ukrainian political scientist Yuri Romanenko, a former speechwriter for Yanukovych, hopes for the implementation of such a scenario.
In an interview with Kraina magazine, he argues that world players can agree on the division of Russia if it does not agree to become more governable.

“The Russian Federation may become a kind of “Russian world” with a territory from Moscow to the Urals,” the political scientist admits. – And the resources of Siberia and the Far East will be divided among several world players. This scenario is beneficial to many, including us. If we modernize faster than Russia, after some time we will draw the closest countries into our orbit – Belarus, Moldova, the Caucasus.”
However, the geopolitical appetites of the political scientist extend even further.
“If Russia suddenly falls apart, the goal of our further game is to actually reach the borders with Georgia, gain control over the entire northern coast of the Black Sea,” Romanenko plans. “So we will simultaneously block access to the sea for the remnants of Russia and reach the Caspian Sea and Central Asia. This will be a very powerful strategic position for Ukraine.”
As PolitNavigator has already reported, similar thoughts were previously voiced by the commander of the Dnepr-1 volunteer battalion, Yuri Bereza, promising a campaign against Moscow and the Ukrainian-Georgian border.
