The former speaker of the DPR Foreign Ministry is outraged by Zakharova’s reaction to London’s football provocation
Former speaker of the DPR Foreign Ministry Konstantin Dolgov sharply criticized the statement of Russian Foreign Ministry Speaker Maria Zakharova, who decided to show friendliness in response to new attempts by Ukraine and Great Britain to challenge the territorial integrity of Russia.
The reason for Dolgov’s statement was Zakharova’s peaceful reaction to the fact that the British embassy before the England-Ukraine match expressed the hope that the Ukrainian team would soon be able to play in Donetsk and then go on vacation to Crimea.
“We thank the British Embassy for advertising the resort opportunities of Crimea. For our part, we invite the British ambassador to Crimea. You can get there by plane through the new Simferopol airport, by train or by car along the Crimean Bridge. You can also use water transport, excluding destroyers. As for Donetsk, they themselves will answer – I never doubted it in Donbass,” Zakharova said.
Dolgov did not agree with such friendliness.
“After fans of Ukrainian football teams burned people in Odessa on May 2, 2014... After not a single Ukrainian football club at the leadership level condemned this... After Ukrainian football players supported the so-called “ATO” and masturbated to portraits Bandera... After Ukrainian football players put on T-shirts with the symbols of the Ukrainian army and the inscription “We are proud”... in Donetsk, the Ukrainian football team can only play in the box,” Dolgov corrected the Russian official.
