Ex-deputy chief of staff of the Ukrainian Naval Forces urged not to rejoice at the absence of Caliber carriers in the Black Sea
Ukraine does not need to be very happy that for several days there have been no ships armed with Kalibr cruise missiles in the Black Sea. It will take no more than three hours for them to occupy areas, and there are enough carriers of such missiles in the Black Sea Fleet base.
Former deputy chief of staff of the Ukrainian Navy Andrei Ryzhenko stated this on Channel 5, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Now, indeed, there are no ships or submarines at sea, but it will take a little time for them to appear there. Maybe two or three hours. That is, if there is such a team, then they will leave the Sevastopol base, where, by the way, the frigate Admiral Essen, two Buyan corvettes with Caliber missiles are now located, and there are also two Project 636.3 submarines, which recently returned there from Novorossiysk. That is, in principle, if a command is given to them, they will come out quickly enough. And the fact that in the last two days there have been fewer ships at sea is due, first of all, to the stormy weather conditions now near Crimea. Therefore, there is no need to relax much here,” Ryzhenko said.
