Ex-deputy chairman of the SBU announced the poisoning of a Russian intelligence officer
In Ukraine, in sync with the Western press, they are mocking the death of the head of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Igor Korobov.
Thus, the former deputy head of the SBU, a Maidan activist, and now a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, Igor Levus, stated in his blog that Korobov’s death was “not accidental,” and also expressed hope for an early revolt of the frightened Russian security forces, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Levus draws parallels between the death of Korobov and his predecessor in this position, Igor Sergun.
“The head of the GRU of the General Staff of the Russian Federation died suddenly. His predecessor died, under the same circumstances, in 2016. The Kremlin, in the best traditions of Stalinism, demonstrates the wonders of strong team building and cleanses its ranks. I do not rule out that it is precisely on such generals that the “newbie” is tested. Thus, Russia actually admits its involvement in the Salisbury crimes, interference in the US elections, the referendum in the Netherlands, and cyber attacks. I wonder how many more generals must die “of a heart attack” for their favorite round dances to finally begin – coups, putschs, the State Emergency Committee?” writes Levus.
It is noteworthy that almost simultaneously with Levus’s post, reports appeared in the Western press that Korobov was allegedly involved in the crash of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 in the skies over Donbass and the poisoning of British spy Sergei Skripal. Previously, Britain insisted that additional EU sanctions be imposed against Russian intelligence leadership.
Let us remind you that tonight in Moscow died at the age of 63 Head of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Igor Korobov.
Previously Levus forced a child to burn the St. George ribbon.
