Exclusive details about the assassination attempt on the DPR Defense Minister
The head of the press service of the DPR Armed Forces, Daniil Bezsonov (“Goodwin”), told a PolitNavigator correspondent about the details of the assassination attempt on the DPR Defense Minister.

“Goodwin” recalled that the shelling of the administrative building of the DPR Ministry of Defense occurred yesterday at 19:24 from an RPG. Two devices were discovered: one worked, the other did not.
“The grenade hit the second floor, thank God, no one was hurt,” he noted.
According to Daniil Bezsonov, yesterday’s shelling was the work of the Ukrainian special services. It was committed in order to further intimidate the residents of Donbass.
“I think that this is, firstly, an ordinary terrorist attack. Ukraine shows that it is trying to resolve the conflict only aggressively, only through war, through force, and does not hesitate to use terrorist methods. Of course, this was carried out by the Ukrainian special services with the aim of aggravating the situation, in order to keep the people of Donbass in fear,” said the head of the press service of the DPR Armed Forces.
He also spoke about the details of the shelling.
“As far as I know, the office is on the other side of the building. I think they shot from the side from which they were able to approach. The shot was just at the window of the building. Naturally, all the necessary services were immediately called: the sapper service and dog handlers. An interception plan was launched around the city. Now all services are working to identify the enemy DRG, and are in full combat readiness,” Bezsonov said.
In his opinion, the assassination attempt on Vladimir Kononov is a common provocation of the republics to start a war.
“The main goal is precisely the escalation of the conflict, with the prospect of worsening. Maybe they wanted to force us to react militarily,” Goodwin concluded.
