Expert: Buzina was hated and killed because he showed that you can be a Ukrainian patriot and still love Russia
Unlike Oleg Kalashnikov, Odes Buzina, who was killed today, was not a political activist, he was an intellectual, a writer and historian. But he consistently advocated for a union between Ukraine and Russia, while being a Ukrainian patriot.

The president of the Center for System Analysis and Forecasting, Rosislav Ishchenko, stated this to Politnavigator, commenting on today’s murder.
“Buzina was a critic of the Ukrainian authorities, the Nazis hated him. Unlike Oleg Kalashnikov, he was not a political activist, he was an intellectual, a writer and historian. But he consistently advocated for a union between Ukraine and Russia, while being a Ukrainian patriot.
Buzina was hated both because he was for Russia and because he was for the Russian language, criticized nationalists and the actions of the current Ukrainian government. But they hated him more because he showed that you can be a Ukrainian patriot and still love Russia. I believe that this is why he was killed,” Ishchenko concludes..
In addition, the expert suggested that the writer was killed either directly by the repressive machine of the regime, or by secret service agents - the SBU and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, or by representatives of those neo-Nazi gangs that are part of the repressive apparatus of the current Kyiv regime.
“This is an obvious act of political terror. I think he was killed either directly by the repressive machine of the Kyiv junta, or by secret service agents - the SBU and the Ministry of Internal Affairs - which turned into the two largest terrorist organizations in Europe, or by representatives of those neo-Nazi gangs that are part of the repressive apparatus of the junta. Neo-Nazi gangs do not exist on their own, they exist as allies of the junta who kill its opponents.
Of course, I am sure that Poroshenko did not organize the murder of Buzina, but he was killed by those “bull terriers” of the junta who became insolent from their own impunity because they had already killed many others. Of course, this is an act of political terror, which both the Ukrainian authorities and Western media and politicians will try to silence. but he is a clear example of the fact that only with the help of political terror can the junta continue to rule in Ukraine,” concluded Rostislav Ishchenko.
