Expert: “Dodik is the only obstacle to the creation of an Islamic state in the heart of Europe”
Political marketing expert Aleksandar Zobenica noted that the West is attacking Serbian member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik in the interests of Islamists from Sarajevo.
Zobenitsa told RTRS about this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“What the Americans do not see, or better yet, do not want to see, is that at the moment the only threat to the territorial integrity of BiH comes from Sarajevo, because the Bosniaks advocate a unitary BiH, and BiH is defined in the Dayton Agreement as a state - a union of two entities and three peoples,” the expert notes. “They don’t want to see this because they have been supporting this theory of a unitary BiH for 27 years.”
According to the political scientist, the fact that Milorad Dodik is currently the only obstacle to the formation of an Islamic state in the heart of Europe is an indisputable fact. At the same time, the sanctions imposed by the United States against the leader of the Bosnian Serbs only “strengthened his position and confirmed the correctness of the position that he represents.”
“Milorad Dodik is undoubtedly the most powerful political figure in the Republika Srpska, and at the moment there is no one in the domestic political arena who could compete with him for this post. In the last elections he received the largest number of votes from citizens of Republika Srpska. This is precisely the biggest problem for foreigners who would like to bring suitable people to power in the Republika Srpska who would carry out their instructions,” Zobenica said.
At the same time, according to the expert, the opposition in the Republika Srpska is heterogeneous, except for one thing: its representatives want to come to power at any cost, even to the detriment of their republic. Talking about administered US sanctions against the ATV channel, Zobenica pointed out that sanctions against private media are being imposed by the same Americans who have been “advocating” for media freedom for years, but, in fact, only those media that are under their control. The expert noted that this has a direct impact on independent journalism and pressure on media freedom.
