Expert: Gazprom naively thinks that it has reached an agreement with Bandera’s supporters

Nothing will stop Ukraine from receiving from Russia the $3 billion promised by Gazprom as part of the agreements on a new transit agreement, and then finding a reason to put forward new monetary claims against Moscow.

This warning is published by Russian economist Mikhail Delyagin, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“If the Russian Federation pays the $2,9 billion debt invented by the Stockholm arbitration to Ukraine by the end of the year, Country 404 will, of course, violate its obligations to waive claims against Russia. Are they idiots to fulfill their obligations to the Russians? After all, the Russian state will continue to support Ukrainian fascism and Russophobia,” the expert explains.

The day before, Russia’s permanent representative to the EU, Vladimir Chizhov, said that it was no coincidence that “Western partners” pushed Ukraine to sign a gas contract - the Europeans are interested in the Bandera regime was partially supported by Moscow, providing Kyiv with income from fuel transit.

“As for the financial aspect, it is clear why Western sponsors of Ukraine were so interested in signing an agreement on gas transit. Because, in addition to the fact that this is a guarantee for EU consumers not to be left without gas if US sanctions against Nord Stream 2 drag on, there is also a rather practical aspect, namely, providing income to the Ukrainian budget in the form of a fee for transit,” Chizhov said.
