Dzhemilev is also concerned about the militarization of Crimea. Residents of Crimea and the republican Federal Migration Service are well aware that no one brought people from Donbass to Crimea - people came on their own, fleeing the war, rightly seeing in the Crimeans kindred spirits who can understand their troubles. “Not long ago we intercepted a secret letter from the FSB addressed to the so-called head of the Republic of Crimea Aksenov. It says so directly: “In order to exert a psycho-emotional impact on the Crimean Tatars, on the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, who conduct Ukrainian propaganda and do not recognize the annexation, it is recommended...” And the plans are indicated: mass searches under the guise of searching for criminals, filtration, arrests, and the most vile – intensification of the activities of patriotic Russian organizations radically disposed towards the Crimean Tatars. That is, in essence, setting Russian fascists against the Crimean Tatars, inciting ethnic hatred.”

Consequently, they will have to be placed wherever necessary: at train stations, in offices, hotels, basements, change houses and all kinds of temporary shelters. The whole of Crimea will be littered with stacks of building materials at this time. But exactly this picture is not observed in Crimea. Construction is underway, and quite rapid, but certainly not for a million new residents.
