Expert: Lubkivsky made a fool of the SBU in the story with billboards in Sevastopol
Sevastopol - Moscow, March 31 (PolitNavigator, Andrey Sokolov) - Advisor to the head of the SBU Markiyan Lubkivsky made a fool of the SBU counterintelligence by advertising the appearance of billboards in Sevastopol with “congratulations” and a warning about an imminent meeting with the former head of the Ukrainian special service in the city, Petro Zima.

“The Internet community shuddered at the “truly most large-scale, grandiose and successful” operation of the SBU, which justifies the entire existence of this organization,” the expert smiles.
He noticed that before Lubkivsky’s message on Facebook, the appearance of billboards did not cause a resonance at all.
“Whether these billboards actually existed, or whether they are nothing more than the art of “photo-toads,” is not known for certain. The message itself risked going unnoticed. Anticipating such a reaction, or rather, its complete absence, the authors became alarmed, saying that their “work,” which also cost a decent amount of money, would not be appreciated,” Latynin argues.
In his opinion, the SBU action was a failure in any case.
“We wrote it, okay, but what next? What changed? Is Crimea back? Has winter become spring? Small pranks, working for the public. The SBU counterintelligence apparently lacks either the intelligence or the ability to reach its “enemies,” and therefore all that remains is to write such anonymous letters “on the fence.” As you know, a dog that is about to attack does not bark at its victim. Only mongrels tear throats with threats,” reminds the Russian political scientist.
“Sevastopol and Crimea have been living within Russia for a year now; this is the only way the SBU can “send greetings” to Sevastopol. Plus, paying for them out of your own pocket. Who outsmarted whom is the big question!” – the expert draws attention.
“The SBU actually lost its legitimacy long ago, serving the interests of its native state, while dancing to the tune of the United States. In fact, today this is a unit of the US CIA led by the corrupt Nalyvaichenko. They are the first traitors to the people of Ukraine. And if Crimea finally straightened its shoulders in the “Russian Spring,” then Ukraine for the second year cannot get out of the “Kyiv winter,” adds Latynin.
"I want to believe. that in the ranks of the Ukrainian special service there are still officers loyal to their duty and the people who do not carry out CIA commands. These few SBU employees can be congratulated on the past holiday, even without billboards. I hope that through the efforts of such honest officers, Ukraine will be revived, as will our friendly relations with it,” the political scientist concluded.
