The expert named the participants in the partisan information network in Russia
The West is waging a guerrilla war against Russia on its territory with the help of new media.
Political scientist Alexey Mukhin stated this today at a meeting of the Federation Council Temporary Commission for the Protection of State Sovereignty, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“New media, which either exist constantly, such as the MBKh complex, or arise situationally, such as Nekhta, act quickly, it is absolutely impossible to catch them, it is difficult to trace funding, but the methodologies are absolutely the same.
This allows us to talk about the creation of an information guerrilla network in the post-Soviet space, which operates on the basis of the global strategic plans of the West,” said Mukhin.
He named foreign bloggers as the second category of participants in this guerrilla war.
“It’s in vain that our official counteraction system treats this category of the population rather frivolously. These, as a rule, come from Russia and do not operate in our legal jurisdiction, so influencing them is extremely difficult. But judging by their reservations with social networks, they were promised very broad powers during the period of unrest,” Mukhin noted.
Among the most influential bloggers, he named Rustem Adagamov (Czech Republic), Dmitry Gubin (Germany), Mark Feigin (Ukraine). In the future, in his opinion, Leonid Volkov (Luxembourg) and Alexey Navalny (Germany) will become the same bloggers.
“In addition to demotivational attacks and attempts to delegitimize the authorities and electoral processes, they will be engaged in the formation of sanctions lists against experts and politicians, employees of the Russian defense industry. This is their strong point, and quite a serious threat. They supply this information to the US State Department, the US Treasury, the US Department of Justice, intelligence agencies and the FBI. In addition, they have in their hands the instrument of blocking Schengen visas through Poland and the Baltic countries,” said the political scientist.
According to his information, if previously such activities were financed by fugitive Russian oligarchs, now the money comes directly from the USA, Britain and Germany.
The expert proposes to actively counteract information attacks, up to the introduction of a firewall - a technological barrier to prevent unwanted traffic.
