The expert drew attention to the abnormally high turnout in the Ukrainian elections
A high percentage of turnout in the presidential elections in Ukraine indicates massive fraud and calls into question their legitimacy.
Political scientist Denis Denisov reported this in a commentary to PolitNavigator.
The expert noted that in order to ensure such a turnout, Crimea, Donbass and emigrants together had to vote.
“On the one hand, the result, in principle, was expected, because the person with the highest rating won the elections and the second place was taken by the person with the greatest administrative resources. I was very surprised by the turnout. On the CEC website we can now see 18 million 700 thousand. This is an extremely high turnout for modern Ukraine, an impossible high turnout,” the expert said.
He notes that based on these figures, almost 90 percent of voters currently living in Ukraine turned out to vote.
“But we know the approximate number of people who constantly work in Russia and the EU, people who did not come yesterday and did not vote, but are in the territory of Crimea, DPR and LPR. Accordingly, such figures are of great concern. Especially in the context of legitimacy. We will wait for the second round, but will power be transferred peacefully to Poroshenko? I think no. He felt the blood when he got into the second round, and now he will do everything possible and impossible to win the elections,” Denisov said.
