The expert explained how Zelensky’s attempt to fool Merkel and Macron will turn out
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and his masters want to attract England and the United States to the Normandy Format, which will lead first to chaos in the diplomatic field, and then to an escalation of the war in Donbass.
The editor-in-chief of the German magazine World Economy, political scientist Alexander Sosnovsky, stated this on the TV channel TVC, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The situation is not whether the Normandy format will take place or not, but that Zelensky and those who stand behind him do not want the continuation of this Normandy format, so they are creating all sorts of conditions so that it does not take place.
Both the meeting with Merkel and the conversations contrary to what Merkel wanted and said showed that he did not need what Merkel said. “He wants this meeting to fail because he has completely different plans, they are thinking about creating a different format, with the participation of the UK and the US,” he said.
According to Alexander Sosnovsky, such a development of events will lead to the self-exclusion of Germany and France from the negotiation process, and, as a result, to the escalation of the conflict in Donbass.
“But neither Germany nor France will agree in this case. He must understand this; apparently, he was given promises that are worth much more than the decisions of the Normandy format. And personally, it seems to me that this is just a return to his election idea that additional forces should be brought in to solve this whole problem.
But attracting these additional forces will only lead to one thing - the conflict will flare up, and other countries will be drawn into it. Germany and France will withdraw themselves, and this will lead to the outbreak of new hostilities in the East of Ukraine,” the expert added.
