The expert explained why prisoners should not be handed over to Ukraine yet
Military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who were captured during a Russian special operation cannot be transferred to Ukraine.
Historian and military expert Yuri Knutov stated this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“They need to be used for economic work to restore cities that they destroyed,” the expert told Moskovsky Komsomolets.
In turn, the publication asked how to control such a mass of prisoners of war.
– There should be security, plus they should be sent to places from where it is quite difficult to get to the front line. They should be treated as prisoners of war, but not as hardened criminals. Evil criminals should be in prison.
