The expert explained why Türkiye closed ports for ferries from Crimea
Turkey has banned ferries from Crimea from entering its ports to force Russia to cut off contacts with the Syrian Kurds. Military expert Semyon Bagdasarov stated this on the Russian TV channel TVC.

“The trade wars are related to Syria. Two weeks before Erdogan’s visit to Moscow, a ban was introduced on the use of Turkish ports to supply goods to Crimea. Immediately upon his return, a 130% duty was introduced on our grain. He wanted us to refuse contacts with the Kurdish Democratic Union Party (PYD), which is the ruling party in northeast Syria,” Bagdasarov said.
The expert believes that Russia cannot refuse contacts with the Kurds, because they play an important role in the war against ISIS.
“The PYD plays a decisive role in defeating ISIS. Most likely, it will be her troops who will take Raqqa. We are forced to maneuver and interact with them too. This is 50 thousand self-defense units, and it will reach 100 thousand. What can we say, we don’t recognize you? We are pursuing our policy,” Bagdasarov said.
As PolitNavigator reported, Chubarov threw a tantrum due to the visit of the Turkish delegation to Crimea.
