Expert: Poroshenko continues his line of completely separating Ukraine from Russia
Kyiv, October 02 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Mikhailov) – The decrees of Petro Poroshenko on the closure of checkpoints on the Russian-Ukrainian border are a continuation of the line towards a complete break between the two fraternal republics.

“I think this is a continuation of the line that the war party is imposing, especially in connection with the elections. This is a fairly pronounced line for a further break with Russia.
Back in December last year on Maidan, Klitschko stated that it doesn’t matter where to go - to Europe or somewhere else, as long as it’s not with Russia. The current policy is a continuation of the Maidan line, the line of complete isolation of Ukraine from Russia.
Russia will also lose from this, but Ukraine will perish from this. Because to break the ties that have been maintained for centuries by both fraternal peoples who emerged from the same Kievan Rus, to ruin the economic ties on which, essentially, the economy of Ukraine is based, to break scientific ties, can only be done by suicide.
Of course, this is already affecting the lives of local residents. The border passes through many settlements and divides them. Does this government think about people?! They are thinking about how to hit their neighbor harder, how to build a stronger ditch between our countries. They started this mess with the wall, it’s completely idiotic. This is schizophrenia, which has entered Ukrainian politics. And it determines its content, direction and methods of implementation,” says Kryuchkov.
