Experts predict inflation to be twice as high as official
In reality, annual inflation in Russia will most likely be almost twice as high as official forecasts.
Economist and entrepreneur Pavel Kobyak stated this on the radio “Komsomolskaya Pravda”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“It is basically impossible to stop [inflation] now. Now there are such tectonic movements in the world economy, we are in the very center of these events, and at the moment even the inflation that the Central Bank has set in its plans is very good in the current circumstances.
This is good inflation in our country. Now, if it were still true, that’s another question. Officially, I think, the inflation set by the Central Bank will be around 7%, but unofficially, I think we will approach 12-15%,” Kobyak said.
