“In Ukraine, they catch corrupt officials who “take” tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars, and at the same time, trade in positions is flourishing in the Ministry of Internal Affairs. According to the information I have, buying the position of head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in any regional center, except for cities with a population of over a million, costs 250 thousand dollars. Avakov not only cannot help but know this, he cannot help but be involved in this,” the political scientist said.
According to Paliychuk, the recent detention of the former leadership of the State Emergency Service right at a Cabinet meeting is an outright “window dressing.”
“Billions of hryvnia are being stolen from the state, and these officials stole a million. – Paliychuk is indignant.
The expert is sure that in this case those who were not sorry to sacrifice were detained.
“Mr. Bochkovsky has a long and well-known history of corruption within the structure of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. At one time he was dismissed from service for corruption, Avakov and Yatsenyuk strangely returned him to the service and at the most critical moment, when the scandal with Gordienko was brewing, they simply sacrificed him. This also applies to other detained officials,” the expert noted.
