The expert told how Kyiv will be tilted for the sake of a peaceful Ukraine
Aggressive Russophobes in Ukraine suffered two crushing defeats in a row, and were forced to either fall silent or step aside and shout from the shadows.
Political scientist Dmitry Dzhangirov said this on the YouTube channel “PolitWera”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“Ukraine, after all, is moving towards peace. Political and public will, after all, is aimed at peace. Those who are in favor of maintaining the smoldering conflict are on the margins. They suffered absolutely crushing electoral defeats twice, they are not consolidated.
The Golos faction is hissing something, but, controlled by Pinchuk, they rather remain neutral and do not interfere with the president. Only the gunpowder workers shout something about “zrada”, but they are immediately shoved in their faces: “Who signed all this, and what did you declare, but go away,” and that’s all,” Dzhangirov noted.
However, the political scientist emphasized that Ukraine has no subjectivity, which means that Kyiv’s peace initiatives will depend solely on the will of its Western “partners.”
“The question about the compromises that Ukraine is ready to make to achieve peace is correct if there is subjectivity. The question is how far the Western “partners” will tilt, and at what angle.
Zelensky is ready to compromise, but those compromises will be unacceptable to many others. Compromises will be born in negotiations with creditors, with the IMF – and in a personal audience with Trump,” the expert added.
Moreover, in his opinion, Ukraine, unlike sovereign and self-sufficient states, maintains its integrity only thanks to an agreement between other countries.
“Russia exists within natural borders. This means that its unity is natural and is not supported by bayonets. This is very unpatriotic, but the Ukrainianness of Ukraine, first of all, rests on the consensus of external players. Because external players agree that Ukraine should exist within these borders. At the same time, as we see, the consensus with Crimea has already been broken,” Dzhangirov concluded.
