Expert: the division of Ukraine between neighboring countries is inevitable
In the near future, Ukraine will be divided by its neighbors, especially since the current Kiev government is striving for this.
Political scientist Evgeniy Filindash expressed this opinion on air on the Glavnovosti channel, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
“There can only be one consequence - an even greater split in Ukraine in all respects, and this is exactly what the current government is seeking, because the entire current elite came to power on the basis of a split in the country and on the blood that was on the Maidan, in Odessa and in Donbass, and it remains there only thanks to this split, somewhere cold, somewhere – essentially a hot civil war, which has been going on in Ukraine for the last four-plus years,” the expert noted.
According to the political scientist, the most important thing for the current government is to remain in power at any cost.
“I think that for them it is no longer so important how many people remain here, the main thing for them is to remain in power, to rule this territory and those remnants of people who will remain. Everyone still won’t leave, won’t run away, some of those who leave still send money here to their families, not everyone leaves forever. For them, this is a key task, because if they lose power, they can lose everything,” he emphasized.
Filindash is confident that Ukraine is smoothly moving towards its collapse.
“Everyone can see that the state is essentially disintegrating under this government. The same cannot go on forever. This half-life period will still end either with the final collapse of everything and everyone and it will just be a territory, not a state, and if there is a free territory, then neighboring states, both from the west and from the east, will take and take these territories under themselves,” – he summed up.
