The Americans will not invest in Ukraine, because they understand that it will be three times more expensive and pointless than financing Afghanistan, from where the United States was forced to retreat with nothing.
Political scientist Rostislav Ishchenko stated this in an interview with the International News Agency Sputnik, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The United States will not support Ukraine the way it supported Afghanistan. The United States did not wind down its operation in Afghanistan and leave there to spend money on Ukraine. They were curtailing this operation in order to save money, which was being spent completely unproductively. That is, the Afghan government, the Afghan army devoured them, but there was no sense in it,” the expert said.
“Ukraine can devour three times more than Afghanistan. They have high qualifications, but this will also be of no use. Therefore, the Americans are not going to spend anything at all, and this story with the postponement of Zelensky’s visit shows that they are saying it openly, this is no longer a hint. In diplomatic language, they said it in plain text, you don’t have to come, nothing will happen anyway,” the political scientist said.
"Again 60 million, as Biden said, it’s unclear some kind of grant, instead of the 600 million military aid that was in 14, this is also a very transparent demonstration of the fact that take your bone and unhook, my eyes wouldn’t see you,” added Ishchenko.
