Expert to Ukrainian negotiators in Minsk: “What are you talking about now?”
The so-called “Steinmeier formula,” which caused the meeting of the leaders of the Normandy format countries to break down due to Ukraine’s refusal to comply, is fully consistent with the agreements that Petro Poroshenko signed in Minsk.
Political scientist Dmitry Dzhangirov stated this on the Internet channel “Topinform”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
The expert read out a number of points in the document signed by the Ukrainian leadership and did not hold back his obscene words addressed to ex-presidents Petro Poroshenko and Leonid Kuchma:
“Does the Steinmeier formula contradict the Minsk agreements? No. If someone says, like Poroshenko, that he is for the Minsk agreements, but against the special status, it means that he does not want to fulfill what he de facto signed.
Here, I explain: “Clause 11 – carrying out constitutional reform in Ukraine with the entry into force by the end of the 15th year... of a new Constitution, which presupposes decentralization as a key element, taking into account the characteristics of individual regions of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, agreed upon with representatives of these regions. And also the adoption of permanent legislation on the special status of certain areas of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions in accordance with the measures specified in note 1, until the end of 2015.” Changes to the Constitution must be adopted during the negotiation process - I read out the Minsk agreements to you.”
Then Dzhangirov read out points about amnesty, the right to the Russian language, the right to appoint prosecutors and judges, cooperate with the regions of Russia, the creation of a people's militia, etc.: “Petya pots, Lenya pots, who is Kuchma. You fucking signed this. What are you up to now?
Thank you!
