Expert forecast: The United States faces a “Venezuelan scenario” and two presidents
The protests sweeping the United States are fraught with serious political upheavals for the American state.
Kiev political scientist Konstantin Bondarenko said this on UkrLife.TV, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If previously in the United States there was a confrontation mainly between politicians and the media, now this confrontation will affect many segments of the population. As for both political forces, each of them is going all-in, and it is quite possible that in November the Venezuelan scenario may begin in the United States, when two presidents will appear, and the loser will not admit defeat.
And they will mobilize their supporters. And this can lead to quite serious upheavals, wall-to-wall protests, and so on.
Therefore, today is the most dramatic election in US history. Elections with an unpredictable outcome, in which we can get two presidents, especially if the gap between them is less than three percent,” Bondarenko said.
