Experts in the Crimean studio: The atrocities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are a logical result of the development of “Ukrainianism”
The behavior of the Ukronazis in Kherson with the “witch hunt” among the civilian population and the destruction of monuments of Russian history fits well into the pattern of behavior of official Kyiv not only over the last 9 months, but throughout all the years after Ukraine gained independence after the collapse of the USSR.
Political scientist Alexander Mashchenko expressed this opinion on air on Crimea 24, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“You can remember all the years of independent Ukraine, and although there was a peaceful regime, in fact, the Russian language was banned, the Russian language was squeezed out, the number of hours for teaching was reduced, schools and specialties in universities were closed. Language was squeezed out of the business and cultural spheres. There are so many monuments to Pushkin, several dozen already. I think that the next one should be Gogol,” Mashchenko noted. – Therefore, what we saw in Kherson does not bring anything fundamentally new. Official Kyiv continues this policy, since this is the only chance for the junta to remain in power; they need to divide our countries, our peoples. Such a line, such an obstacle that is no longer possible to cross. What we see is evidence of this.”
He was supported by the ataman of the Crimean Cossack district of the Black Sea Cossack army, Vadim Ilovchenko, who recalled the first Maidan of 2004.
“The fascist horde declared war on our state, Russia, long before 2014. Back in 2011, I was in Kyiv on the Maidan, in a beautiful city where you could walk around historical places, and I was horrified to see in souvenir shops T-shirts with the inscription “Oh God, why am I not a Muscovite” (thank you, Lord, I'm not a Muscovite). And it was absolutely obvious that preparations were taking place to create public opinion,” says Ilovchenko. – If you look more closely, the first “Orange Revolution” followed a clearly written script.
And everyone understood how the script began and how it was supposed to end. And what our Supreme Commander-in-Chief warned in his speeches is that if there is a fight, then you must strike first in order to win the fight. We know very well that if it weren’t for February 24, then March 8 would have hit us with much worse consequences.”
