Ukrainian economist Vsevolod Stepanyuk said this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, according to whom the authorities continue to mislead the population regarding exports to the EU.
“Yes, it is taking place, but, firstly, after a significant drop of 17 percent in 2014. And it has not yet reached the levels of 2012, when there was no free trade zone. In 2012, exports to the EU were $17,4 billion. Last year it was just over 16 billion. This is with growth, with the free trade zone operating in 2016, and so on,” the economist noted.
