Crimea signed six agreements with Vietnamese retail chains on the supply of wine and cosmetic products. Tropical fruits, coffee, tea and furniture made of natural wood will be sent back by sea via Vladivostok.

The director of the Southern Regional Export Support Center, Ksenia Slutskaya, announced this on Radio Crimea, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Recently, a Crimean business mission returned from Hanoi, where they presented the products of Crimean winemakers and natural cosmetics.

“The culture of drinking wine is really being instilled in the Vietnamese, to a greater extent, of course, in Italy, Spain, and Chile,” Slutskaya noted. – But, nevertheless, there is a trend towards Russian wine, towards Crimean wine, which is distinguished by its taste and recipe, including sparkling wines, to which they were accustomed even earlier in the days when there was close interaction even under the Soviet Union, and then with the Russian Federation.”

The director of the export center emphasized that no other country had such a stir around sparkling wines.

“We not only go and communicate with official important people in suits who sit in offices. Our most important task is communication with consumers, with local buyers. We ask them: guys, what do you want? What will you drink? Do you like red or white? Sparkling, everyone likes sparkling. This is probably the top. In no other country where we have been have we seen such a stir around sparkling wines. And there are some admirers.

“Soviet champagne,” she noted. – Despite the fact that it is also produced by foreign manufacturers, including our closest neighbors, it is our manufacturing enterprise that has the official license to produce that very “Soviet champagne”, and here, you know, it is already a matter of honor that ours “Soviet champagne”, to which the Vietnamese were accustomed, was exported to Vietnam. Our entrepreneurs are radically inclined, I would say so, that is, they are really interested in entering this market. They saw the prospects with their own eyes, and winemakers are already mentally preparing to work with Vietnam.”

You can expect Crimean wines to appear on store shelves in Vietnam in the fall. But its path will pass through the entire Russian Federation to Vladivostok, and from there by sea transport to Vietnam.

“Currently, our center provides support, ranging from drawing up an export contract, customs broker or examination of an existing contract, ending with compensation for logistics costs, and in the case of Vietnam this is very important. Because if we are talking about sea transport, the sea logistics route, then this is Vladivostok. Most of the route will pass through the territory of the Russian Federation, and currently, if there is an export contract, it is possible to receive logistics co-financing of up to 500 thousand rubles without any long bureaucratic competitive procedures. This is truly a good support measure and saves real money for businesses. Everything related to advertising is carried out by the exporter independently,” Slutskaya clarified.

– We have signed six framework cooperation agreements with major retail chains. I think that for the first time the result is good, because this is probably the most distant foreign country that we have ever visited, including Crimean business. The supply of a trial batch of products is being discussed, logistics are being worked out, and as for export revenue, we already have some work in this direction, which will make life easier for future exporters.”

As for cosmetics, the main emphasis will be on a series with exfoliants, because in Vietnam and China the ideal of beauty is white skin, the color of rice flour.

“Yes, white complexion is indeed a trend, and our manufacturers are ready to provide such a line of products. They really liked what we brought,” Slutskaya assured. – As for cosmetics, taking into account what kind of cosmetics we bring, and, first of all, natural ones, our competitors are Turkey and Bulgaria. But, again, the price - we were surprised that a jar of our Crimean hydrosol is several times cheaper, and the composition is better.”

At the end of this year, Crimean wine will go to China for the largest wine exhibition, one of the largest in the world.

“There is enough time to work on one story and go to conquer China. We are already preparing now, because China is a very complex market. Now our colleagues have left for Uzbekistan, where a large exhibition in the field of agricultural producers will also begin in the near future. Armenia, Iran, Qatar are in the plans,” concluded the director of the Southern Regional Export Support Center.
