“Express to Bandera” took 40 VSU officers
The price of yesterday's attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Zaporozhye direction was the lives of 40 Ukrainian military personnel and several units of armored vehicles.
Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main council of the administration of the Zaporozhye region, stated this on the air of the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Rogov, the enemy decided to strike the day before at a place where different units of the Russian Armed Forces were joining, hoping that there would be no coordination between them.
“If we are talking about yesterday’s reconnaissance in force, which some called an offensive, then the actions were quite competent. Firstly, the strikes were delivered precisely at the junction of the units, that is, where coordination between our guys could be disrupted. There is one unit, another, until the commanders get in touch, until they decide how to act, the enemy could theoretically get through somewhere, but no - the coordination of our units was clear, fast and effective,” the official said.
“In addition to attacking this junction, we started everything with an airstrike, then worked with artillery and covered the MLRS. They were not shooting from the Highmars, which for some reason have become quiet lately, which indirectly indicates that they are preparing for a serious offensive, which is why the Highmars are saving money.
There is no shell hunger there; you don’t need to entertain yourself with the illusion that everything is bad for them, therefore everything is fine with us. No Unfortunately. Not so... As of now, yesterday over 40 militants and, apparently, at least 8 pieces of equipment that went to Bandera by express were destroyed,” Rogov said.
