Extremists postpone the invasion of Crimea until autumn
Members of the Mejlis plan to hold the so-called “march to Crimea”, which was canceled in May, this fall.
The deputy of the fake “representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea”, Tamila Tasheva, stated this on radio NV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Tasheva, the question of the safety of the march participants remains open.
“Due to the fact that quarantine measures have been introduced, the march is postponed. Most likely it will be postponed until the fall. We understand that the march is being held in order to once again raise the issue of Crimea at the highest level.
It is more of an informational nature, but, nevertheless, I personally said that we see a certain danger, primarily for people who will go to meet such a convoy on the territory of the peninsula, therefore we need to take into account all security factors. Including when we, as a state or the Mejlis, conduct such actions.
Therefore, I support the initiatives of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, which are associated with non-violent resistance and the information wave, but I understand that this issue needs to be worked out very well, because there are many security factors,” Tasheva said.
Earlier, PolitNavigator reported that the so-called “march to Crimea”, previously planned by the Mejlis members for May 3, could turn into a bloody provocation on the border.
