“Since the beginning of December, electricity supplies have been cut off in the Lviv region chaotically and haphazardly, without any warning. Chairman of the Lviv Regional Council Petro Kolodiy considers such outages to be sabotage, and, in his opinion, the Lviv Regional State Administration should look for leverage over PJSC Lvovoblenergo,” the press service of the regional council said in a statement.
The Presidium of the Lviv Regional Council in its decision requires the Lviv Regional Administration to immediately approve regulated power outage schedules and ensure their implementation.
Deputies decided to instruct the Lviv Regional State Administration to create a commission to compensate for material damage to the population and business entities from uncontrolled power outages, as well as to provide legal support to citizens and business entities who suffered losses in lawsuits against energy distribution and energy generating companies through whose fault these losses were caused .
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier in Odessa people stormed the distribution zone due to power outages.
