“The operation of the minimal equipment of thermal power plants is caused by a sharp decrease in coal reserves in the warehouse as a result of a busy dispatch schedule during a period of low temperatures and the current lack of supplies of coal products to the enterprise,” the company’s press service reported, emphasizing that a complete shutdown has so far been possible to avoid.
Coal reserves at the ZmTPP warehouse on the morning of December 4 amounted to 8 thousand tons.
Now the station personnel are preserving equipment and power units and preparing them for the safe passage of a period of low temperatures in order to prevent disruption of the technological operating regime in the future.
Let us remind you that an acute shortage of coal also occurred at the Uglegorsk, Lugansk, and Krivorozh thermal power plants.
Today in Kharkov residential buildings and enterprises were de-energized. Rolling power outages were felt in other localities in Ukraine. Energy workers hope that Tomorrow the situation will stabilize after the 3rd power unit of the Zaporozhye NPP, which was stopped for routine repairs, is put into operation.
