Electricity in Ukraine in 2 years after Euromaidan increased in price by 300%, heating - by 1000%
Tariffs in Ukraine continue to grow disproportionately to the salaries and pensions of the population. So, in two years, electricity has risen in price by 300%, and heating from 500% to 1000%. People's Deputy Oleg Kulinich stated this from the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada.
According to him, the minimum pension will increase only from December 1 – and then by 10%.

“Since September 1, electricity tariffs have increased again. Over the past two years this is 300%. Heating tariffs increased in three stages, from 500 to a thousand percent. Hot water tariffs have increased significantly. And at this time, the government promises that from December 1 the minimum pension will be indexed by 10%. And this is already 20 hryvnia.
Inflation over the past year has become 43%, and the tax minimum and the minimum wage have increased by only 13%. As you can see, the numbers are completely disproportionate. Many people are not confident that they will be able to pay for utilities when the new heating season arrives,” Kulinich said.
