The "elite" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine flees from the "JFO" zone more often than they fled from the "ATO" zone
According to Ukrainian headquarters documents, the number of deserters in the Ukrainian Armed Forces has recently increased significantly. The increase in desertion cases is associated with the renaming of “ATO” to “OOS”.
This information was announced during the briefing by the head of the press service of the DPR Ministry of Defense, Daniil Bezsonov, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
He noted that documents from the Ukrainian command continue to fall into the hands of the DPR Armed Forces.
“According to data from the document of the Armed Law Enforcement Service of Ukraine, with the beginning of the reformatting of the “ATO” into the “JFO”, the number of deserters from the zone of occupation operation increased. It is noted that in recent months, some 504 soldiers and officers left without permission (over the same period, 420 militants left the ATO). It is worth noting that elite military units remain the leaders in the number of deserters:
in the 79th Special Brigade - 119 cases,
in the 80th Special Brigade - 111 cases,
in the 81st brigade there were 92 cases,” said Daniil Bezsonov.
At the same time, the ineffectiveness of measures to find and prevent cases of desertion in the DPR is associated with the fact that Naev and his team are more busy with their personal enrichment in the Joint Forces Operation zone than with fulfilling their direct duties.
“These facts indicate not only that ineffective measures have been taken to prevent desertion in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but also that since Naev came to power, the indicators for finding fugitives have decreased significantly. This is due to the fact that the commander became less demanding of the militants, who more often began to commit crimes for the purpose of their own material enrichment,” emphasized Daniil Bezsonov.
